Tobias Graml is a PhD candidate at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich (ETH Zürich), Switzerland and works as a Senior Researcher at the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics. Before joining the Bits to Energy Lab in 2008 he gathered practical experience as an IT Specialist at the IBM Pacific Development Center in Vancouver, Canada. Tobias obtained a M.Sc. (Diplom-Informatiker Univ.) in computer science and business studies from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, Germany in 2006. His diploma thesis focused on business process modelling patterns that utilize business rules to enable dynamic Business Processes. He won the Best Student Paper Award with a paper about agile Business Process at the EDOC 2007. Current research interests include dynamic business processes, business process optimization and the ecological footprint of processes, products, and services.
